Kristen Stewart: "Snow White’is all about Female Empowerment"
Kristen Stewart knew that she was born to play Snow White. The 22-year-old actress spoke to reporters on May 14 at the exciting London premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman and this is what she said about playing the fairest of them all!
“She is kind of exactly who you’d want to be,” Kristen says. “She’s really good, essentially selfless. I think it’s cool we humanized her and someone who had to fight to be those things. If you’re going to do a movie about female empowerment you should stay a girl … her strength is not about her size it’s about her mind and heart.”
Isn’t it just so powerful that Kristen believes in her character this much? Kristen went on to admit that the film was very demanding physically and that when she appeared really cold and in pain: “It’s because we probably are.”
Kristen also revealed that she is looking at other movie roles — so there’s a lot more of K-Stew ahead!
The film hits theaters June 1!
