Twi-hards continued to line up in droves, beginning with midnight screenings, to drink in the third chapter of the Stephenie Meyer vamps vs. werewolves saga this summer. The world got plenty of shirtless shots of Taylor Lautner, not to mention the big-screen 'Twilight' parody 'Vampires Suck.'

The movie easily rekindled interest on the romance between Stewart and Pattinson, which was never confirmed by the actors themselves but for which many sources closed to them has attested.
Pattinson's frequent visits to Kristen's non-Twilight film On the Road also raised eyebrows as reports say that Pattinson was jealous of Stewart's co-star Viggo Mortenssen. A gritty photograph showing Kristen and Robert kissing also surfaced on the Intenet this year, further creating buzz around the couple's romance over which the two actors remained mum. "It doesn't matter how many times I've spoken to someone or how well they know me, I'm just not going to talk about that," said Kristen in an interview.
This year also had the media following Kristen and Robert as they shoot for Breaking Dawn Part 1 & Part 2, the final films in the Twilight Saga. While in Brazil, the two were reportedly found by authorities kissing on the beach. The two were filming in the country for their honeymoon in the fictional Isle Esme.

I am a big fan of Kristen Stewart’s style and she is my best dressed celebrity for 2010. She has previously featured in this blog here wearing Valentino, and while I find it extremely difficult to pick a number one celebrity red carpet outfit of 2010, the dress pictured above is definitely one of my favourites.
Stewart stepped out in a gorgeous Versace number during her promotional tour for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse last June. Appearing at the Hotel Regant in Berlin, Stewart wore a short, jersey, mini-dress from the Fall 2010 collection. This dress is fun and modern and provides the perfect look for the 20 year old actress.
The blue panels and zips give the dress a geometric feel and the body-con style shows off Stewart’s slim figure to the max.
She accessorized with a black leather bracelet and delicate necklace. Her black nail polish gave the outfit some vampish glam.
Her hair is backcombed at the roots and caught up in a ponytail, complimenting her natural look make up. She finished the outfit with a pair of open toe Camilla Skovgaard boots.

When I reviewed the movie back in March I called Kristen Stewart a modern James Dean. I'm standing by that. If you've only seen her in Twilight, you've probably assumed the worst about the future vampire bride, but in The Runaways Stewart is stupendous as real life, fem rocker Joan Jett. The rest of the movie around her, isn't bad either. It's a real, seedy, drug-infested, sex-soaked rise to rock and roll fame tale, except all the rockers just happen to be girls. The film focuses primarily on the story of Runaways front girl Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning) as she's indoctrinated into the rock and roll lifestyle, then sexed up to sell records by the zany, scene-stealing Michael Shannon as manager Ken Fowler. But it's Stewart Joan Jett who will really capture your attention, and she ends up carrying the movie. Stewart's Joan lives and breathes guitar licks, as the true talent behind the music. The rock and roll scenes are toe-tapping fun and the tale of an all girl band manufactured, unleashed, and then run aground is as interesting and fucked up as it ought to be. You'd think any movie starring Kristen Stewart would be an instant sensation, yet somehow her Twilight fandom never really seemed to notice she was in it. Maybe it was the film's hard R-rating which scared the overly chase Twilight crowd away. Whatever the reason, while the movie earned positive reviews, once it was released no one seemed to notice.

Simplicity wins out in this symphony of thinly veiled erogenous cues that is also a literal depiction of the Runaways' hit song "Cherry Bomb." The sparks, the cherry and the drip could have appeared alone with the film's title and still been an effective teaser. The poster boils the concept of a Runaways biopic into a concoction that's about as simple as they come, and as far as blunt messages go, this one wields a mighty large club./Erica

In February, R-Pattz actually admitted they were attending the BAFTA Awards together. Then there was the biggest tip-off of all: In August, a sneaky photographer snapped the couple making out in Montreal. And in December, they were openly cuddling at a Breaking Dawn cast party. The studio, clearly angling to beat Relativity's version, is in talks with Charlize Theron to play the evil queen and is having conversations with Michael Fassbender's reps to take on the titular huntsman.
But who will nab the starring role of Snow White?
The studio initially thought of going with name actresses in that age bracket, making entreaties toward Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning and Saoirse Ronan, but is nowleaning toward going with a relative unknown and is holding screen tests in the next few days to find its leading lady. The stakes are high because, similar to Disney's recent Alice in Wonderland adaptation, there will be stars in key roles, but the main pillar is going to be whoever ends up as the orphaned girl on the run.
Sources caution that depending on how the tests go, the studio can still reverse course and continue reaching out a bigger name. But for now, the actresses who have made Universal's shortlist are:
- Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and daughter of Lisa-Marie Presley. She made her film debut playing Marie Currie in The Runaways and recently wrapped a vampire flick with Kylie Minogue titled Jack & Diane.
- Felicity Jones, an English actress currently seen as Miranda in Julie Taymor's The Tempest. She also played Margot Frank in BBC's 2009 miniseries The Diary of Anne Frank.
- Bella Heathcoat, whose major credit is the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
- Alicia Vikander, a Swedish actress with mostly TV work under her hood.

Georgie: Well, I think Johnny Depp has a really great career because he's always chosen different genres and always gone for the more outside roles. He's never taken the easy option. That's something I really admire and would love to emulate. People also tend to pick on Kristen Stewart, but I think she's done really great job going from acting alongside Jodie Foster in "Panic Room" to, now, being a fully-fledged -- and I think very talented -- actor. If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were ever bothered by the constant paparazzi and tabloid attention to their private lives during the making of Eclipse, director David Slade says he didn't know anything about it.
And even if he did, Slade wasn't about to get involved in any of the dramarama. It's not that he didn't care, but…
"We had a very tight schedule so there wasn't much time to be too sympathetic, to be honest," "We had to go. We had to shoot. We had shoot after shoot after shoot. We had a 50-day schedule which isn't normally what you have for a film of this scale."
"So we just had to crack on," he continued. "If anything, there wasn't time to go, 'How are you feeling today? Are you all right? What's going on?'"
They were so busy that Slade says he never even had the chance to get to know Pattinson, Stewart and the rest of the cast too well. "All the time we spent together was working," he said. Even so, maybe we'll see Slade directing another Twilight movie one of these days? Sure, the Breaking Dawn flicks are supposed to be the last two installments of the megahit vampire franchise, but Slade laughed, "There was only going to be three James Bond movies, right?"
