Since splitting with soon-to-be ex-hubby Russell Brand, the California Gurl has made plenty of time for her famous friends. And seeing as Rihanna has been busy getting her Battleship on abroad, Ms. Perry had room to add a new chick to her clique: Kristen Stewart!

So what's the latest on the friendship between K.Perry, K.Stew and Robert Pattinson too?First, it was actually R.Pattz who brought the Twilight twosome into Katy Perry's fold—Rob and Katy share a mutual friend in actress Shannon Woodward. That said, Kristen is still scoring plenty of face time with the sexy songstress lately.

Like when the two hit up a concert taping for the 3-D flick Katy Perry: Part of Me. And now the trio are partying together at the swanky Chateau Marmont, where Katy hung out after attending the Kids Choice Awards and before jetting off to India.

After spending Friday night taking in a show at Hotel Café, Rob and Kristen hit up the Chateau on Saturday night, arriving at the exclusive Hollywood hot spot around 11:30 p.m. and immediately making their way over to Katy, who was holding court on the patio.

"They are obviously very close to Katy," an insider reveals to E! News about the new A-list friends. "She was very happy having her girls' night out, but when Rob and Kristen arrived she was really pleased to see them. The group seemed to be having lots of fun together. They were laughing a lot and were really enjoying themselves."

Apparently so! Because the gang—shall we call them Robstenerry?—have made no secret of their recent friendship, with Kristen even complimenting Katy while accepting her Kids' Choice Awards: "I just have to say,

Katy Perry's armor was the coolest thing I've ever seen."Hey, now that we know they're practically BFF, maybe Katy's Snow White and the Huntsman-esque costume was inspired by Kristen. Ya never know, right?!
