Liongate har valt Kristen och Eisenberg för "American Ultra"
Lionsgate has acquired U.S. distribution rights to the comedy "American Ultra" for $7 million. The indie movie stars Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg.
Nima Nourizadeh, who directed the surprise hit Project X, begins shooting in New Orleans next month from a script by Max Landis.

James Gandolfini was hulking, fearsome, and bristling with submerged rage and grief. Kristen Stewart was tiny, fragile and fronting false confidence as she spiraled into self-destruction.
At least, those were their characters in Welcome to the Rileys, a 2010 indie drama starring her as a teenage stripper/prostitute and him as the well-meaning but misguided father of a deceased child who thought he could try and save her instead.
Stewart has been silent since Gandolfini’s unexpected death last week from a heart attack at age 51, but with his funeral set for Thursday in New York, she is opening up about the loss of a friend and colleague:

Kristen kommer att spela in två nya filmer
Vi skrev om ett av projekten, Camp X-ray, för någon vecka sedan.
Kristen Stewart is proving you do not need to stay in the franchise forever, as it was revealed today that she will be starring in two new projects.
The first project is titled CAMP X-RAY. The film follows a girl who joins the military to escape her town, but she soon realises that her tour of duty is not what she expected as she is sent to Guantanamo. The film is being helmed by graphic designer Peter Sattler, who will be making his feature directorial debut with the film.
The second project is SILS MARIA. The film follows a middle aged women looking at she spent her life and the choices she made. Juliette Binoche will be starring as the actress who is obsessed with the choices she made, while Stewart will be playing her assistant. Mia Wasikowska was originally set for the role, but left the project. Chloe Moretz is also attached to star in the movie and it will be directed by Olivier Assayas.

Andrew Lazar's Mad Chance Productions will produce alongside AngelWorld's Darby Angel, Tykwer and the Wachowskis. HanWay Films will handle international sales, while CAA negotiated the deal and is representing North American rights (CAA also reps WorldView).
The Big Shoe follows Nate (Sturgess), a gifted shoe designer forced to break free from a family who wants to cheapen his art for their own commercial gain. His overbearing mother Irene (Sarandon) hires a psychotherapist and a muse to lure Nate back to work.
"The Big Shoe provides the opportunity to explore a playful romantic, sexy, intimate connection just as Secretary did. The script combines eroticism and humor in such a unique way -- where shoes are better than sex," Shainberg said.
Goodman recently designed a pair of wedding shoes commissioned by the Royal Mint to celebrate the Royal Wedding. Only 11 pairs of the shoes were produced, the first going to Kate Middleton.
"The project has all the elements we were looking for to satisfy our financing model. The script is strong, as is the cast and the creative team, and it's great to work with an experienced and reputable producer like Lazar. The Big Shoe ticks all the boxes, especially as our investment criteria are non-negotiable," said Angel.

The fifth and final (for now) "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2", has been given a Saturday, March 2 release date on Blu-ray and DVD.
Summit Entertainment has elected to release all the "Twilight" films on Saturdays in a bid to encourage the franchise's scores of fans to participate in midnight launch parties on Friday night. Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be no different, and will likely have some of the biggest parties of them all.
Breaking Dawn Part 2 stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, and is directed by Bill Condon. The film has earned $289.2 million at the domestic box office thus far and a massive $813.9 million worldwide.
Additional details regarding the Blu-ray and DVD debut of Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be revealed in the coming weeks as Summit makes their official announcement. Look for full disc details, cover art and Amazon's pre-order link to appear in the near future.

IndieWire pratade med Stewart om hennes film On the Road - som går på utvalda biografer idag - och ett av samtalsämnena som kom upp vad om det skulle komma en Snow White and the Huntsman 2.
"Åh, det kommer bli så fantastiskt. Nej, jag är så exalterad för det att det är galet", sa hon.
När vi frågade om mer detaljer, svarade hon "Jag får inte berätta. Häromdagen sa jag att det fanns en stor möjlighet att vi skulle göra en uppföljare, och det är väldigt sant, men alla var, "Whoa, sluta prata om det." Så nej, jag får verkligen inte prata om det."
Vad hon skulle göra, dock, var att bekräfta att studion hade några intressanta ideér till karaktären hon spelar.
"Absolut. Och vi har verkligen ett otroligt... Så ja, det är bra."
