Charlize Theron: "She's quite the fighter"
Charlize Theron, 36, who plays evil Queen Ravenna in Snow White and the Huntsman (SWATH), told Mexican mag Vanidades that she instantly hit it off with younger co-star, Kristen Stewart, 21.
“From the moment we met there was this amazing chemistry between us,” Charlize said of K-Stew. “We had a great time filming that movie. I really hope people enjoy it. Kristen is only 21…I remember when I was that age. Her performance is fantastic. In fact, she’s quite the fighter.”
So what how did Charlize feel about being part of SWATH and playing the evil queen?
“Filming it made me feel like a teenager, like I was 12. The movie itself is a very ambitious project, and to me playing Ravenna was a lot of fun, she said.”
We can’t wait til the fantasy flick hits theaters on June 1!

Jennifer Lawrence: "I really like Kristen"
Jennifer Lawrence may never want to achieve Kristen Stewart‘s level of fame, but in a new interview, "The Hunger Games" star admits she’s a big fan of the "Twilight" saga’s leading lady. “I really like Kristen Stewart in the "Twilight" movies,” she tells Celebritext. “I can’t really imagine anybody else doing it; I think she’s a great Bella.”
And did you know that Jennifer, 21, was originally up against K-Stew, 21, for the part of Bella? It’s true, but Jennifer says there’s no hard feelings there at all.
“I think that everything happens for the reason,” she says. “I’ve never really been disappointed about not getting anything. I mean, I was just with every actor in New York or LA auditioning for whatever’s out thee. But I felt that whatever it meant to be, will happen. I actually had no idea what they were.”
In the end, Jennifer says she was actually really impressed with K-Stew’s performance in the epic saga.
“When the movies came out, I went, ‘Wow!’” she says.

How Rob and Krsiten spent their Oscars weekend

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart didn't attend Sunday's Oscars, but according to a new story, nonetheless spent the weekend together in LA. People reports that Robert and Kristen showed PDA at a pre-Academy Awards bash. The WME agency's Grey Goose-hosted party was held at the home of überagent Ari Emanuel, and brought out their fellow hot couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.
Their weekend started with a stint shopping at Balenciaga for Kristen. Robert and Kristen also made time for dinner with friends. They were seen at Il Covo dining with a group of pals that included Mia Wasikowska.

“I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, ‘I’d never want to be that famous’,” she says. “I can’t imagine how I’d feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium.”
Well, I feel for Jennifer,because it’s about to happen. It’s reported that Hunger Games beat out Twilight Saga: Eclipse for the first day,advanced,ticket sales record this past Wednesday. HG is also sold out in many theaters,already. It looks like it’s going to be really huge.

Jake Scott: "Kristen improvises everything!"
Apparently many of the words we’ve heard from Kristen Stewart‘s mouth on the big screen are actually her own! The 21-year-old actress’s "Welcome to the Rileys" director, Jake Scott, revealed Kristen doesn’t like to memorize lines…she’d rather just improvise!
“Kristen improvises everything,” Jake told Hey U Guys during an interview promoting the Welcome to the Rileys DVD release, which is Feb. 27. “She can be quite frustrating for a writer because she kind of just makes her own words up. She takes what’s written on the page and then just makes her own sense of it.”
The best part? K-Stew doesn’t ask for permission first!
“She wouldn’t warn you she was doing that, she would just change the words,” her director explained.
We have a feeling Kristen had to follow her "Twilight" scripts a little more closely than that, otherwise there would have been outrage from Twi-hards when Bella Swan said completely different lines than she did in the book.

Ursäkta för dålig uppdatering, men förra veckan hade jag (Kimberly) fullt upp med att slutföra ett projekt inom skolan och denna vecka har vi haft special schema och varit lediga väldigt mycket och då har jag verkligen tagit det lungt bara för inte behöva tänka på skolarbete och typ inte gjort någonting.

Chris Hemsworth pratar om Kristen och "SWATH"
We’re standing right behind the monitors in “video village”. Behind us, on public land, curious couples push baby strollers on a path and wonder what’s shooting.
Kristen and Chris are now watching the playback footage on the monitors and she, wearing a warm black parka over her scoop-necked, short leather Snow White tunic and leather pants, is apologizing for the accidental punch. Chris, face swelling, is very cool about it and both stars are laughing. Chris, in a great weathered, brown leather outfit, is swarmed by make-up people trying to make him look even more rugged and dirty… yum!
Here he comes. We’re standing in a mud puddle due to recent rain and we don’t care. We see a slight bruise starting on that handsome face and Chris mumbles that his nose is running. Ah, the joys of modern filmmaking!
Kidzworld: You got punched.
Chris: Well you can see that it’s swelling going up my nose. Kidzworld: Did Kristen do that? Chris: We misjudged one and I head-butted her fist with my nose which didn’t turn out too well for me.
Kidzworld: So how much fun is hanging upside down all afternoon?
Chris: It’s not that much fun at all actually. It’s certainly a head rush. It’s like I’m on a roller coaster a hundred times upside down so you have that sick feeling coming off of it but it looks good [on the monitor].
Kidzworld: Do you two talk about anything when you’re hanging upside down?
Chris: Get us down! Get us down! What am I doing? Honestly it’s using every bit of energy to hold yourself in a certain position so your arm doesn’t tear off because they’ve got a harness hooked over your shoulders and on your ankles and all different parts of the body are being pulled in an unorthodox sort of way.
Kidzworld: Owww! Can you talk about working with Kristen?
Chris: She’s great. We both loved the script from the beginning. We both read it and had a huge amount of excitement coming into it and both love working with [director] Rupert [Sanders] and she leaves no stone unturned in her prep with the script. She’s always asking questions and trying to find out what’s the real truth in the scene but she’s great. It keeps you on your toes and the scenes are all the better for it.
Kidzworld: Can you tell us about the rumored love triangle in the movie? [Chris and Sam Claflin who plays the prince and Kristen].
Chris: It’s not so much a love triangle. We haven’t really finished shooting it yet so we don’t know what it’s gonna turn into. It’s kind of what the individual characters feel for each other. I think they are kind of unaware of whether anyone else is involved in that mix. It’s not quite as public or an open as a love triangle is. It’s not that obvious. I think it’s more of a [subtext]. Last October, we were so excited to pay a visit to the set of Snow White and the Huntsman outside London. We got a sneak peek into the amazing world of Kristen Stewart and her costars, including Chris Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Charlize Theron, and more, inhabited while shooting the action-packed fairy-tale movie. We have tons to come from our day poking around the remarkable set and learning about everything from the costumes to the fight scenes. While we were there, we even got to see the aftermath of Kristen accidentally actually punching Chris Hemsworth in the face filming a scene. Check out our chat with Kristen and stay tuned for lots from the set.
Is there something you admire about Snow White?
Yes. It’s strange playing a character that you actually could never truly embody. Her spirit affects people. . . I can’t have Snow White’s effect on people. I can’t actually be completely selfless because nobody is. You can only really play a character like that in a fairy tale and play it with an awful load of integrity. She’s very fully formed, but very farfetched-from-the-reality-that-we-live-in type of person. She also is strong in a very different way than you’d expect. Strength, yeah, but also gusto. I mean, she’s strong. She can kick ass. It hurts very much to do so and so it’s not like you’re watching her go take down a kingdom. You’re not watching going, "Yeah! Kill him!" Really it’s more like you’re watching someone having to do something that doesn’t just go against your sensibilities or that you agree with. It’s gutting. It’s physically gutting, literally. A million reasons, but she’s special.
Do you like that she’s not like your prissy fairy tale?
Yeah, because that’s just a very surface, though she is prissy sometimes. That’s the other thing. It takes her the whole movie basically to become who I’m talking about now. I’m really sort of talking in retrospect. It’s strange. It’s a total identity movie. It’s all about not finding yourself, but actually just being OK with who you always have been and not being ashamed of being the only one who sees the light. It’s an enormous burden and she’s so stunted. She was put away when she was 7 years old and your mother and your father were killed basically right in front of you. We’re not doing the version of a fairy tale that wouldn’t deal with all of those things, where you just sort of skim over all those things, and it's like all of these things are actually really important to the characters. She literally bleeds for her land and her people, and that’s just such a cool concept for me because it’s other people caring about people. It’s very simple, but it’s so common. Every day all the time you see people not caring about each other, and this is just about that.
She learns to be a leader or she’s born a leader inside, do you think?
She’s definitely a born leader. I mean, it’s literally pumping through those veins, but it’s been taken from her. She’s been so stolen from.
Is it helping you get into the character's mindset to wear those cool costumes?
Absolutely. If you look down and something doesn’t feel like you would definitely be wearing it, or if you go to grab your knife and it flops around or — basically [Colleen Atwood] thinks about every detail. It’s so wearable. I also have puffy sleeves. Somehow she manages to make puffy sleeves look butch. I was always expecting to personally wind up in a — basically what I’m wearing underneath it, like that little blue dress, which is just thin and wispy. I was really happy that she’s got something heavy on — a bit of armor before she actually finds her own armor.
How did you feel the first time you put on the armor? Did you feel more badass?
Yeah. That’s the first thing you want to [pound your chest]. Also, my armor doesn’t have a huge top on it. All the guys, unfortunately, they [raise their arms] and they hit themselves in the head. I can run around in mine. Somehow the armor on the men — unless they’re on horseback and they look amazing, but there’s also something kind of dainty about it, too, like pointy toes. It fits a woman’s body better, I feel. I don’t know, the guys running around suddenly look like little toys — slightly feminine little toys.

Bill Condon: "Bella's death was satisfying"
“In the course of one movie, Bella gets married, she has sex for the first time, she gets pregnant, she gives birth, she dies and she is reborn,” he said in an interview from the film’s DVD special features. “That’s just the first movie. So the whole movie is a third act. And that was really fun — it felt very satisfying.”

The original reference material had to be abandoned. “During our initial development phase of the ‘Bella Effect’ we viewed images of starving young women. The images were horrifying, and we immediately began to search for another source, something much softer. We ended referencing thin fashion and runway models with very defined jaws and cheekbones.” Adjustments had to be made. “John immediately noticed we were reducing the width of Kristen Stewart’s jawline; once we restored the original width, she immediately appeared more emaciated.” 3D head references were used for every shot.

Actress Kristen Stewart was interviewed by the French magazine "One" for their February/March 2012 edition. Kristen admits that she has compared Snow White and Bella.
"Yes, and they have like a hundred common points. They're both kind of matriarch. Women who take care of their family above all. I don't see Snow White as the cartoon's character who's stuck in everyone's head. When I was little, my parents didn't read me fairytales, I don't this culture. A lot of people tell me that they can't wait to see the movie because it's kind of a rereading of the myth, but it's all new for me. I didn't know what to expect when I was reading the script. It was the same for Twilight. I'd never heard any vampire stories."
From the trailers we've seen a new version of Snow White, a warrior, someone that seems to have more in common with Xena than a Disney Princess. While Kristen is first to point that her short stature isn't ideal for a warrior, she makes up for it with heart.
"I don't have the physical appearance of a fighter, but I identified myself to this young woman's state of mind, who have huge compassion. Snow White is not capable of hating, but she has to find the strength to fight and this movie opened my eyes. We don't need to hate our rival to fight him. Snow White is the last hope for the people, she has some kind of spiritual connection with the others. She deeply feels things and forgets to think about her to concentrate on others. When she has to kill, it breaks her heart and I've never seen any movie action where the heroine is torn to fight."
The actress has a very polarizing affect upon the masses, many either love her or hate her. But in this interview she shows quite a wonderful sense of modesty, making it clear she isn't and has never wanted to be a role model. When asked about her influence upon the teenagers of today she had a very grounded response.
"I'm not better than them and I don't have any particular wisdom to share with them. I don't like being put on a pedestal. Why is my opinion suddenly important? It doesn't make sense! I haven't changed. I'm exactly the same person that I was before Twilight and back then, no one was asking my opinion."
Kristen sounded quite confident that there would be several more Snow White films in her future. She optimistically said, "I don't like to plan my future, but Snow White may turn into a trilogy. If the movie succeeds, we could do a next chapter and so I could be in another franchise. But I'd love to play Snow White again."
And what about that infamous moment when Bella cold cocked her co-star Chris Hemsworth (Thor), will we get to see that in the film?
"It was like in a movie, I'd never hit someone and I realized that I really hit him hard. Me! It was really exciting to knock Thor out! It's comforting to know that a little girl like me can beat someone as strong as Chris. you'll see this take in the movie, the director kept it."

The star set a good example when she designed a pair of sneakers for a good cause. Kristen Stewart has an affinity for sneakers — especially VANS. In fact, the star even wore the slip-on sneakers with a Marios Schwab cocktail dress back in November. Now, the star scribbled on a pair for Vans Custom Culture, an outreach program that raises money for educational art programs.
While K-Stew kept it simple, simply scribbling her initials.

While Kristen Stewart has a particularly rabid following for such a young actress, we're guessing (hoping?) you don't consider yourself a Twi-hard. Still, just because you're not a Stephenie Meyer disciple doesn't mean you can't still be a fan of Twilight's leading lady. A reluctant star who seems genuinely bothered by all the attention she's received as Robert Pattinson's love interest (both onscreen and off), Stewart has an edge to her that most other tween favorites don't. And maybe it's that hard-to-get attitude that makes us like her so much. Regardless, forget Edward and Jacob -- consider us Team Bella. Is that an option?
