Catherine Hardwicke pratar om Twilight, Kristen och Robert
"Kristen was like, 'It's got to be Rob!' She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is." Hardwicke gave him the part, but he had to make a promise. "You've got to realize that Kristen is 17 years old," she told him. "She's underage. You've got to focus, dude, or you're going to be arrested. I made him swear on a stack of Bibles."
Despite Twilight's $400 million global success, Hardwicke left the franchise when it came to the sequel. She said it was her decision, despite a blog report that she was fired.
"I couldn't even be fired, that's what's so funny," she says. "In my contract, I had the first right of refusal." She turned down the second film, she says, because the studio wanted to rush it out. "I do not regret it at all, thank the Lord," she says. "The truth is I liked the first book the best."
There is something of the vampire in Hardwicke herself. Just as Edward will never grew old, Hardwicke refuses to abandon the mischievous joys of youth. There's nothing formal about the way she does business. She frequently invites her protégés over to audition or rehearse.
Her home is "right on the beach," says Shiloh Fernandez, who plays the hunky Peter in Red Riding Hood. "It's like a loft for a young surfer guy." It’s not Grandma's house. But there is a bed. And she lures young actors onto it, though not in the traditional casting-couch way. When Hardwicke auditioned Evan Rachel Wood for Thirteen, she had her get into her bed with Nikki Reed. That's also where Pattinson kissed Stewart for the first time in his Twilight screen test. "That bed made Pattinson who he is right now," says Reed. Asked about her lair, Hardwicke laughs. "MTV came and did an episode in my house filming the bed. It's legendary," she says, flashing a wide—dare we say wolfish—grin.

Jackson Rathbone om sex-scenerna i "Breaking Dawn"
Actually, make that sex scenes...
"It's definitely sexy," Jackson Rathbone told us at Leeza Gibbons' Dare2Care Pre-Oscar Cocktail party of Edward and Bella's highly-anticipated onscreen love-making. "It definitely qualifies as shmexaaay."
How sexy? "It's a PG-13 movie, but also it is what it is and it's a union," Rathbone said. "They are consummating their relationship and they don't just do it once, let's put it that way."
Rathbone also assures us we'll be seeing lots of that signature Rob and Kristen chemistry in the flick.
"Oh yeah," he laughed. "It sizzles, man. It sizzles like bacon!"

'Oscar'-producent lovar en överraskning för "Twilight"-fans
Förra året var det tre Twilight-stjärnor som gick på röda mattan för Academy Awards/Oscars. Kristen Stewart och Taylor Lautner var där medan Anna Kendrick var nominerad i 'Best Supporting Acress'-kategorin. Året innan det var Robert Pattinson presentatör.
Som du redan vet har både Robert Pattinson och Kristen Stewart landat i Vancouver, British Columbia för att fortsätta filma The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, så det tar bort dem från listan över söndagens händelser.

Vinnare i iVillage Entertainment Awards
In the 2nd Annual iVillage Entertainment Awards, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's cast, particularly Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, snagged several voted-in honors.
For starters, Robert Pattinson was chosen (with 58% of the vote) as the "Man You'd Trade Your Husband For" over Johnny Depp, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Denzel Washington.
Meanwhile, he and Kristen Stewart were also chosen for "Sexiest Onscreen Chemistry" (with 69% of the vote) over Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal (Love And Other Drugs), Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem (Eat, Pray, Love), and Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo (The Kids Are All Right).

And yet, a cloak of silence keeps fans of heartthrobs Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in the dark. Will they sneak into Vancouver on a late-night flight, ushered quietly through a back door and into a waiting limousine? Or will they arrive early Monday or Tuesday morning, while their fanatical school-age fans head off to class?

De bästa konstfilmerna 2010 - "The yellow handkerchief"
They also require acting of a precision not necessary in many mass entertainments. They require directors with a clear idea of complex purposes. They require subtleties of lighting and sound that create a self-contained world. Most of all, they require sympathy. The directors care for their characters, and ask us to see them as individuals, not genre emblems. That requires us to see ourselves as individual viewers, not "audience members." That can be an intimate experience. I found it in these titles, which for one reason or another weren't on my earlier lists. Maybe next year I'll just come up with one alphabetical list of all the year's best films, and call it "The Best Films of 2011, A to Z."
"Yellow Handkerchief." This is the story of three insecure drifters who find themselves sharing a big convertible and driving to New Orleans not long after Hurricane Katrina. The car's driver is a teenager named Gordy (Eddie Redmayne), who doubts most of what he does and seems to apologize just by standing there. At a rural convenience store, he encounters Martine (Kristen Stewart), running away from her life. He says he's driving to New Orleans. No reason. She decides to come along. No reason. They meet a quiet, reserved man named Brett (William Hurt), and she thinks he should come along. No particular reason.
We now have the makings of a classic road picture. Three outsiders, a fabled destination, Louisiana back roads and a big old convertible. William Hurt occupies the silent center of the film. In many movies we interpret his reticence as masking intelligence. Here we realize it's a blank slate, and could be masking anything. Kristen Stewart is a wonderful actress. I must not hold the "Twilight" movies against her. In recent film after film, she shows a sure hand and an intrinsic power. I last saw her in "Welcome to the Rileys," where she played a runaway working as a hooker in New Orleans. In both films she had many scenes with experienced older actors (Hurt, James Gandolfini). In both she was rock solid. The story of Redmayne, who plays Gordy, is unexpected. He fits effortlessly into the role of the scrawny, uncertain 15-year-old Louisiana kid. Yet I learn he is 27, a Brit who went to Eton, a veteran of Shakespeare and Edward Albee.
During their odyssey their secrets are slowly confided. They learn lessons about themselves, which is required in such films, but are so slowly and convincingly arrived at here that we forgive them. Prasad made a wonderful British film in 1997, "My Son the Fanatic." I've seen none of his work since. Now comes this redneck slice of life. Since the characters are so far from the lives of the actors and the director, this is a creation of the imagination. As it must be. The ending is a shade melodramatic, but what the heck. In for one yellow handkerchief, in for a hundred.

Nu har det kommit ut nya bilder på Kristen när hon anlände till LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) i eftermiddags (amerikansk tid) efter att ha filmat Breaking Dawn i Baton Rouge, Louisiana de senaste veckorna. Tydligen så har hon gjort illa vänsterhanden men förhoppningsvis är hon okej. De börjar filma Breaking Dawn i Vancouver, Kanada nästa vecka.

Stewartdaily har fått en ny design! :) Har haft den andra sedan sidan öppnades (14 mars 2010) så jag tyckte det var dags för en förändring. Designen är från grunden gjord av tescho.se och det står även om ni scrollar längst ner på sidan. Jag har kodat om den en del och om något ser konstigt ut så kommentera gärna så ska jag försöka fixa det. Det är fortfarande några saker jag ska ändra på men i det stora hela är den klar.

Then came the goose-pimpled fable. And suddenly Stewart had to deal with "Twilight" mania (a tiny bit scary), David Letterman interviews (a little uncomfortable) and a hot career (surprising, but very nice).
It was daunting at first, but Stewart -- who turns 19 next week -- has learned to take it and to take time out for herself. And for us, recently, to talk about her new movie, Greg Mottola's comic romance "Adventureland."
Q: There are a lot of movies about unhappy suburban teens, but "Adventureland" feels like the way 18-year-olds really think.
A: Well, it's sort of Greg's story, so it's written from a very real, personal standpoint ... It deals with some things that have been touched on before, but nothing starts out cliche, or ends up glorified. It's not cheesy.
Q: Are there a lot of cheesy scripts out there about people your age?
A: There's a lot of material floating around that's sort of empty. And I can't really work on something like that. I can only be a part of something that feels like, if I don't bring this character to life she's going to die right there on the page.
Q: Even with all the drama the characters in "Adventureland" are going through, there's a lot of humor, too, most of it coming from their crummy summer jobs. Could you relate to that?
A: Well, I've had sort of different versions of crummy summer jobs. The thing is, I could never quit my crummy summer jobs. I was sort of stuck there (on the set), thinking, "Why am I here?''
Q: Your first big job was "Panic Room." So you walk on and it's a David Fincher movie, and there's Jodie Foster. Were you intimidated? Or were you too young to be intimidated?
A: I was an overly confident 10-year-old, I guess. I was aware enough to note how important the people I was working with were, but I was also kind of aware that I was just a kid and people don't expect anything from kids -- you know, just know your lines and stay in focus. So if I did anything remotely good, people would be really surprised and appreciative. That was kind of cool. But I like it so much better now. I like expectations.
Q: You were very young then, but you seemed different than the other child actors. You had really short hair and this kind of edgy, skater grrrl vibe. Was that something you were consciously trying to do?
A: I was never trying to present myself in a certain way, but there was definitely this side that people picked up on. I was so rejected from anything that was comic or light or frivolous. You know, it wasn't like, "No, I'm not going to do a Nickelodeon series, I'm going to do cool things!" It was more like, Nickelodeon was totally uninterested ... Which ended up being fine. The people who are really good at that stuff are entertainers. I am so not that.
Q: You grew up with parents who worked in the business. Was there this sort of "Aha!" moment when you knew this was something you were going to pursue, too?
A: I have the "Aha" moments progressively -- they're like milestones and they hit you. I think my first "Aha!" moment was when I did this (TV) movie called "Speak." I was just rolling with it, and ended up kind of really losing myself in it, so that I felt like I was a different person at the end. That was a big moment.
Q: Was seeing the script for "Twilight" another "Aha"?
A: It all happened very fast. I hadn't heard of the books and I read the script and loved it and auditioned for it, so it was very conventional in the way I got the part. But knowing Catherine (Hardwicke) was directing was definitely a draw, because I knew it would be a collaborative process -- not forced, but found.
Q: What did you two find in Bella?
A: She's a very strong character. And a lot of people disagree with that, because she gives up some control. But I think it takes a lot of courage to give up that control. That's what Catherine and I talked about, a lot, that Bella was strong enough to do that ... It's a really striking story, because it's just so fundamental. What do we live for? And unless you're a total nihilist you have to say, "For someone else, for companionship." And the story is about what you sacrifice for that.
Q: How prepared were you for what happened after? Because you strike me as a fairly interior person, and suddenly you're doing mall appearances.
A: It's not easy for me, to be honest. But the cool aspect of it is, you love something and you put your guts into it and you have other people throwing their guts on the ground for you, it's fire for fire. That's great. No other movie I've ever done has had such a devoted audience. So I'm down on going on this journey. We're doing the second film now and that's going to be really interesting, because in a way it almost completely undermines the first. It's very, very different.
Q: And you're very, very busy with a lot of other things. You have an indie film, "The Cake Eaters," in theaters. And you're preparing to play Joan Jett in "The Runaways."
A: Yeah, "The Cake Eaters" -- there are certain movies that you would do for nothing, just the experience of doing it. "Runaways," I'm immersing myself in now. I got to hang out with Joan Jett for awhile, and I think that's the coolest thing I've ever done ... Which is great. I really need to lose myself in a role. I really need to become someone else. 'Cause believe me, no one wants to see me play Kristen Stewart.

Gossip site The Fan Carpet has learned from a "source close to the project" (I wasn't sure there was enough of a project for a source to get close to) that Olivia Wilde is an actress now being considered to fill the brown shorts and green tank top of Lara Croft. The source also says that they are looking for a top tier director and script (aren't all projects?) and that the next installment would be "far darker and more serious." According to the rumor it is Wilde's role in Tron: Legacy that has begun to turn the heads of studio bosses.
I have absolutely no faith in this article and it is almost definitely wrong, but here's the bright side: I get to post a big ol' picture of Olivia Wilde at the top of this article. Let's hear the complaints.

Det ser ut som om vi snart kommer att se Kristen Stewart och Taylor Lautner i Vancouver. Eftersom att just nu håller Bella's hus på att dekoreras inför julen. Vilket betyder att de snart ska filma scenen när Jacob tar med sig Bella och dottern Renesmee för att visa upp för Charlie precis till julen.

Skulle Kristen bli en bra Snövit?
Whether Kristen Stewart will make a good Snow White in other ways is an open question.
[A couple of] week's are worth of reports that Stewart would take on the role of the fairy-tale princess came to a head with a story that Stewart is now officially in negotiations to play the title female character in "Snow White and the Huntsman."
The movie is one of three new twists on the fairy tale that Hollywood is developing, this one with commercials director Rupert Sanders. (Charlize Theron will play the evil queen and Viggo Mortensen the huntsman, who takes Snow White under his wing.)
The hallmarks of the character, at least in the Brothers Grimm telling, is softness and vulnerability. Stewart has done vulnerability - sort of - in parts of the "Twilight" franchise. But her defining characteristic has been toughness. Certainly that's been a part of the non-"Twilight" roles she's tackled, as hard-living rocker Joan Jett in "The Runaways" and as a troubled stripper in "Welcome to the Rileys." Will her Goth aspects mesh with the softness of a princess?
In a way, the Stewart casting evokes a reversal of the Rooney Mara-Dragon Tattoo problem. There people were asking if an actress was too soft for the part; here you could ask if she's too tough for it.
The new Snow White does reimagine the character as someone chained to the huntsman instead of set free by him, and, consequently, someone who must learn to fight her way out of trouble. Let's hope, for K-Stew's sake and ours, that means the part calls for more grit than it does soft smiles.

'K-11' har inget officiellt startdatum
Nu hävdar IMDb och andra ställen att K-11 kommer att börja spelas in 6 juni. Som Gossip Copmeddelat, har Stewart också blivit erbjuden huvudrollen i Snow White and the Huntsman, vilket har gjort att många undrar om det skulle bli en möjlig konflikt mellan de två produktionerna.
Det kommer det inte att bli.
Gossip Cop tog en titt in i det, och en källa på produktionen av K-11 berättade för oss att det inte finns något officiellt startdatum än. Skulle Stewart och skaparna av Snow White komma till en slutgiltig överenskommelse med deras erbjudande till henne, kommer det inte på några sätt att påverka K-11.

Information om filmen 'K-11'
Det har kommit ut lite ny information om K-11 som det har pratats om. Gossip Cop har bekräftat att filmen kommer att bli av och att Kristen fortfarande kommer att medverka i filmen. Det finns ännu inga officiella besked om när inspelninen kommer att börja men det ryktas om den 6 juni och att det sedan fortsätter i en månad. Rykten säger att Kristen bara kommer att filma i två veckor.
Kristen är även i förhandlingar om att spela Snövit i Snow White and the Huntsman, som även den kommer att spelas in i sommar. Men dessa två filminspelningar kommer inte att krocka med varandra, säger Gossip Cop.
Det har varit mycket diskussion om vem som ska regissera filmen och rättigheterna har hoppat fram och tillbaka. Men som det ser ut just nu är det Jules Mann-Stewart som ska regissera. Det vill säga Kristens mamma.

Listan toppas av ”Avatar”-regissören James Cameron, Johnny Depp och Leonardo DiCaprio. Först på trettonde plats kommer en kvinna, och det är ingen mindre än unga ”Twilight”-stjärnan Kristen Stewart. Därmed lämnar hon stora namn som Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston och Sandra Bullock bakom sig.

Though she looks plenty pleased sitting with costar Garrett Hedlund in this just-released still from On the Road, her pal and fellow Road costar Tom Sturridge says he's seen firsthand how aggressive the paparazzi can be with K.Stew. Read on for that—and more photos!
"I think, you know, with her and with everybody, it's just not fair, especially with like young girls," Sturridge told me the other day while promoting his new flick Waiting For Forever (out tomorrow) at West Hollywood's Standard Hotel. "It's outrageous. Men chasing young girls? It's terrible."
Working with Stewart on On The Road was anything but terrible. "She's astonishing," Sturridge said. "I think she's genuinely an extraordinary actress, and she does things in the film that I've never seen her do. But also kind of never seen anyone do. Yeah, she was just brilliant." (FYI: He doesn't lock lips with her, but costar Garrett Hedlund does.)
On the Road, an adaptation of Jack Kerouac classic beat novel of the same name, also costars Sam Riley. "It was so weird," Sturridge said. "I remember the beginning when all of us were sitting at rehearsals looking at each other being like, 'How is this responsibility of this film sitting on our shoulders?'"

Vad är det som händer nu kanske ni tänker...
Jag är nämligen den nya bloggaren som ska hjälpa Erica att uppdatera här på stewartdaily.
Men innan jag börjar blogga här så tänkte jag bara presentera mig lite.
Jag heter Kimberly och är 16 år. Fyller 17 år i mars (född -94, alltså) Just nu går jag första året på S:t Eriksgymnasium och läser florist programmet (börjar andra året i höst). Från början var det ett ganska spotant val, fast det spelar egentligen ingen roll för jag har alltid gillat blommor, men ju mer jag går i skolan så förstår jag att det är är detta jag vill bli! :)
Bor i huvudstaden, Stockholm med min famlij. Med min pappa men min mamma bor just nu i Malmö/Trollhättan för hon håller på med ett jobb där nere.Jag har även en vuxen halv-bror som fortfarande bor hemma (eller hos sin pappa, eftersom att vi bara delar samma mamma) och så har vi våran hund George.
På helger och fritid gillar jag sova, vara med vänner, shoppa, fika, blogga.(har även en privat blogg oxå)
Jag är absolut ingen människa som är ute och festar varje kväll, men jag gillar att vara hem och titta på film, käka en massa godis och bara ta det lungt.
Okej, angående Kristen Stewart?
Såhär är det va, jag såg Kristen för första gången i filmen Jumper, men hennes roll är ju väldigt liten i den filmen, så när jag väl såg Twilight så visste jag inte att det var samma person. Eftersom att jag inte sett henne innan visste jag liksom inte var hon hette. Och sedan såg jag henne i Twilight såklart, men för att vara helt ärlig måste jag berätta att första gången jag såg Twilight tyckte jag att det var en shitfilm! Medans min mamma föll för den på en gång. Och sedan såg jag den igen. Men det var inte förrän tredje gången jag såg den som jag föll för den. Och ah, då föll jag för Kristen med. Och jag blev typ helt besatt, av henne och Robert Pattinson! Men mest henne :P
Och sedan började jag kolla upp en massa filmer på nätet, och köpte på nätet. Jag ville bara ha mer, Kristen!! (och det vill jag fortfarande!!) Men jag har sett många i alla fall, så jag gillar henne inte enbart för att hon är Bella utan för att hon är Kristen. Så jävla underbar!

The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongside Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universal’s take on the fairy tale.
The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.
Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Commercial helmer Rupert Sanders is making his directorial debut on the pic, which amps up the action quotient from the fairy tale and plays up the relationship between White and the Huntsman. In the new scenario, when she is banished and on the run by the evil queen (Theron), the Huntsman (Mortensen) takes her under his wing to protect her, and she becomes his protege, learning how to fight and defend herself.

No one born perfect in any way!

Rotten Tomatoes (RT) had 60 reviews, MetaCritic (MC) had 29 reviews, Movie Review Intelligence (MRI) had 29 reviews and the Movie Review Query Engine (MRQE) had 40 reviews but some reviews are represented in the two or three or four of them, so in the end, we have much less than 158 reviews but there are also a lot of reviews that neither of these sites listed. In the end, we found 118 reviews from professional film critics, included 38 so call Top Critics).

The first lesson that we learned about film critics reviews was: Doesn't matter how well the film was reviewed or how well it did in the box office, the review for the actor's performances is independent. So... You can't judge an actor's performance just looking the scores of the movie in sites like RT, MC, MRI or MRQE. You have to read all!

With English actor Henry Civill set to don the "S" on his chest in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, casting for supporting roles are well underway. While much isn't known about the "modern" reboot, essentially the roles to be cast, Clark Kent's main squeeze Lois Lane is almost guaranteed to appear.
Though several actresses has either expressed interest in playing Lane, or have been rumored to have read for the role, today's latest rumor via Gregory Littley, a Branding Consultant and Creative director who specializes in social media, has Twlight's Kristen Stewart in the mix.

“Everyone else is considered a back-up plan. It’s Kristen’s role to lose,” confirms another insider.
According to IMBD, the film is set to be released on December 21, 2012. Filming is scheduled to begin this summer, which could interfere with K-11, a movie Kristen is rumored to be starring in as well. As of now, K-11 begins filming on June 6.
Snow White and The Huntsman is expected to be a grown-up, serious movie version of the classic fairy tale, in the same way Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfried is being portrayed. Charlize Theron is slated to play Ravenna, the evil queen and Viggo Mortensenis rumoured to play Eric, The Huntsman. With Academy Award winner Charlize and Academy Award nominated Viggo on the screen, Kristen would have some very esteemed costars!
